Part-Time Community Social Services Assistant / Position #221-40-2110

The person in this position will provide part time assistance to the children’s services unit. Duties of this position would include transporting children to and from visitations, medical and mental health appointments, etc. This would include in state and out of state travel. Supervising visitations between children and parents, maintaining documentation and giving feedback to the social workers. Testifying in court if the need arises. Staffing with the agency attorney. Providing acute attention to detail for subtle, non-verbal behavior between family members. Monitor compliance with established visitation policies. Provide care and the meet needs of the child based on age. Maintain utmost confidentiality for sensitive and high risk cases. Maintain and manage own schedule while meeting the needs of the clients. Must be willing to work flexible hours Monday through Friday.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Valid CPR Certification REQUIRED or be willing to obtain certification.
